In general, Reiki brings about rapid and significant health improvements. One Reiki treatment can make dramatic changes in your health and may be all that is needed. However, most times healing is a process and one treatment may not be enough to effect complete rehabilitation. The time it takes to mend a condition can be directly related to the seriousness of the condition and to the length of time it has been with you. Unfortunately, that length of time is whether you are aware of the condition or not. Fortunately, in most situations, a healing shift is usually apparent after one or two treatments. As with acute illness or injury, the sooner you start to receive Reiki after the initial onset the faster the healing benefits will be seen. Chronic conditions can require several treatments to produce significant improvement or positive results. Sometimes regular treatments over a period of time may be needed to continue the healing process and alleviate and repair the chronic condition.
